Part-time Domestic Vacancy - The Cottage Family Centre

10 hours per week
Salary: £6.30 per hour

This is a temporary position, initially the hours of work will be between 8.00am to 10.00am Monday to Friday, however, this will be subject of ongoing review and may change.

Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team, the successful applicant will be aware of the importance of adhering to Health & Safety procedures and regulations and work to the standards of hygiene set by the organization.

Essential Skills

The worker should have the ability to clean the premises to the standards set out by The Cottage Family Centre. They should have the ability to read job and safety instructions, numeracy skills for measuring out cleaning fluids, be physically fit, honest, trustworthy and reliable, self-motivated and responsible, able to work unsupervised and part of a team, and have an understanding of health and safety procedures and regulations.

Responsibilities/Tasks

The worker will have a responsibility to maintain a high standard of hygiene and have a flexible approach to duties and responsibilities days/times. Have an understanding of and maintain confidentiality. Maintain a check on cleaning materials and advise staff when replacements are necessary, raise concerns with regard to the remit of the job as they occur with the Service Manager, act as a keyholder and open and secure the building when leaving the premises.
