Fife Voluntary Action (formerly CVS Fife, Volunteer Centre Fife and VONEF) is hosting ‘Celebrating Fife’s Voluntary Sector 2012’ on 29th November 2012.

This exciting Fife-wide event has gone from strength to strength every year and provides the opportunity for organisations in the public and voluntary sector to recognise the efforts of volunteers, management committees and projects as a whole, so don’t miss this chance to nominate those deserving special recognition!

This year there are 14 categories to choose from so there’s bound to be at least one to suit your organisation or volunteers. Have a look here: http://www.volunteeringfife.org/x-CFVS-12.htm then get down to filling in the form – it will be 10 minutes well spent!

The Awards evening takes place in the Carnegie Conference Centre, Dunfermline at 6 for 6.30pm until 9.00pm and includes tea, coffee and finger buffet. In addition, transport will be provided free-of-charge for those unable to get to the venue from other parts of Fife. Please note the event is invitation-only and restricted to those making nominations.

An additional attraction on the night is VIP guest speaker Provost of Fife and Dunfermline Athletic General Manager, Jim Leishman - a staunch supporter of the voluntary sector in Fife.
