The Scottish Government’s Social Enterprise and Third Sector Challenge Fund launched 21st June 2012
In February 2012 Angela Constance, the Minister for Youth Employment, announced that a £2.5 million Challenge Fund would be established. This would be for Social Enterprises and specialist Third Sector organisations to make applications to in order to provide support for young people to progress towards and into jobs.
Invitation for applications to the Fund will be open until the 20th July, with delivery expected to commence in September 2012 and finish by end March 2013. Minimum levels for bids have been set at £50K and maximum at £250K, and consortia bids are welcome. The Fund will be managed by Skills Development Scotland on behalf of Scottish Government.
