Awards Announcement - Community Interventions Fund
CVS Fife is delighted to announce the voluntary organisations awarded funding through the Community Interventions Fund to support the Reshaping Care for Older People agenda. Nine groups have received one year funding, providing a range of support and services for older people in Fife. The Community Interventions Fund is the grants element of the Community Capacity Building Project. The overall vision of the project is:
- Older People and communities being at the heart of an inclusive society which offers a flexible range of care, activity and support
- Third/Voluntary Sector being at the heart of early intervention services and activities which are designed to promote and maintain healthy life expectancy
- Using Third/Voluntary Sector experience of tackling inequalities through preventative approaches
The projects awarded funding are:
- Mind Your Mind - Fife Employment Access Trust (FEAT)
- Dementia Development - Day Centres Services
- RealLiving - Link Living
- Volunteers & Community Connections - Alzheimers Scotland
- Still Points in a Turning World - ON at Fife
- The Tool Shed - The Ecology Centre
- New Horizons - Age Concern Glenrothes
- Maintenance Plus - Furniture Plus
- Housing Mentors Project (55+) - Disabled Persons Housing Service (Fife)
