Fife Direct
Fifedirect is a community website for residents of, or visitors to, Fife, Scotland. It contains information that is added by a wide range of organisations that provide local services. These include community and voluntary groups, as well as public sector organisations like Fife Council and NHS Fife. fifedirect aims to give you a complete picture of what's available in Fife, from services and support to the latest events and community contacts.

Fife Rights Forum
Fife Rights Forum is the umbrella body for Fife's advice and rights agencies. The remit of Fife Rights Forum includes helping to improve the quality of advice services, promoting co-operation between agencies and increasing community involvement across the sector. The Forum has a co-ordinator, meets every quarter for networking and information sharing and elects an executive, which guides the development of the forum. This site does not offer advice but a links section and directory will point you to services that do.

Fife Social Economy Partnership
Fife Social Economy Partnership (FSEP) was established in 2004 to support the development of the social enterprise sector in Fife. The partnership exists to enable the development of a flourishing social enterprise sector within Fife which will deliver effective services, create jobs and contribute to regeneration, prosperity and quality of life for residents in Fife.

Living In Fife
The Living in Fife Website provides Health & Welfare advice and has been designed specifically for people living in Fife. It provides both local and national information. A dedicated team ensures the information on this website is updated frequently. It has a directory structure that groups common themes together, e.g. Cancer, Children, Voluntary Sector. You can search by either Organisation name or by using a keyword, e.g. "Deaf Children's Society", or "deaf". Most entrties include an email address and website address so that you can contact the Organisation directly.

Playfield Institute
Playfield Institute is funded through NHS Fife and aims to empower the workforce to promote the emotional health and wellbeing of children and young people. We provide assistance and support to frontline workers who are directly or indirectly involved in the prevention, promotion and care of children and young people's mental health and wellbeing. The three main areas the Institute covers are training, information and research.

Scottish Enterprise Fife
Scottish Enterprise Fife's aim is to help Scotland increase its employment and productivity. The focus is on three areas: Growing Businesses, Global Connections and Skills and Learning which are all vital for developing a strong Scottish economy.

Volunteering Fife

The Directory of Social Change, set up in 1975, aims to be an internationally recognised independent source of information and support to voluntary and community sectors worldwide. We enable the community and voluntary sectors to achieve their aims through being an independent voice, providing training and information.

HandsOnScotland
The HandsOnScotland Website is an online resource for anybody working with children and young people. It is a one-stop shop for practical information and techniques on how to respond helpfully to children and young people's troubling behaviour, build up their self-esteem and promote their positive mental wellbeing.

Health Education Board Scotland
Provide a national focus for improving health and work with the Scottish Executive and other key partners to take action to improve health and reduce health inequalities in Scotland.

NHS Quality Improvement Scotland
NHS Quality Improvement Scotland (NHS QIS) was established as a Special Health Board by the Scottish Executive in 2003, in order to act as the lead organisation in improving the quality of healthcare delivered by NHSScotland. By 'improve', we mean the improving of the experiences of patients and the outcomes of their treatment while in the care of NHSScotland. We work to achieve these goals through an analysis of scientific evidence, by listening to the needs and preferences of patients and carers, as well as the experiences of healthcare professionals.

SAIF works to improve accessible information for disabled people by producing and promoting standards and guidelines.

VolResource aims to make it quick and easy to get to useful information on anything to do with running a voluntary organisation (whether a community group, charity or other non-profit body).

Children In Scotland
Children in Scotland is the national agency for voluntary, statutory and professional organisations and individuals working with children and their families in Scotland.

CVS Network
The CVS Network (Councils for Voluntary Service) consists of 56 independent organisations that provide a range of development and support services to voluntary organisations across Scotland. CVS activity is supported by the Scottish Executive and local authorities, as well as by trading income and funding from a wide range of sources. Human Rights Scotland
Human Rights Scotland, formerly the Scottish Human Rights Trust was founded in 1979 and since that time has developed and grown to provide independent information and training on human rights and citizenship.

Volunteer Development Scotland
Volunteer Development Scotland, the Centre for Excellence, works strategically and in partnership to help create an enabling environment for volunteering. They do this by undertaking research, analysing and responding to policy, engaging in consultation, influencing key decision makers, disseminating good practice in volunteer management, and stimulating dialogue around volunteer development in Scotland.
