The Forum provides opportunities for Voluntary Sector organisations involved in providing services to and for children to come together to share and exchange experience and information and to provide mutual support.
We support the development and strengthening of the Voluntary Sector so it can influence statutory policy, practice developments and contribute to and participate in the Community Planning agenda through a variety of methods including, but not limited to, the election of representatives to body's outside the Forum.

The minutes from the Children's Forum Coordinating Group meeting of 19th November are now available in Documents and Publications.
The next meeting of the Voluntary Sector Children’s Forum will take place on Friday 14th March.
Councillor Tim Brett (Strategic Chair: Social Work & Health Committee) has agreed to attend this meeting of the Forum in order to learn more about the forum and answer your questions, so it is an important opportunity to speak directly to them about the issues which affect your organisations.
Further details of the Agenda and an opportunity to confirm attendance will be circulated nearer the time, but for the moment please put this date in your diary.
The meeting will be held at the Volunteer Centre Fife, St Brycedale Avenue, Kirkcaldy (map and address details) from 9:30 to 11:30.
