Applicant Criteria	Charities in the Glenrothes area are invited to discuss their funding needs at a surgery being organised by Lloyds TSB Foundation for Scotland. The event is taking place on Tuesday 3rd March 2009 at Rothes Halls, Kingdom Centre, Rothes Square, Glenrothes KY7 5NX. 45 minute appointments for a one-to-one consultation with an Assessor are available between 11am and 6.30pm and should be booked in advance. Disabled access is available at this venue, and when making an appointment please mention that this would be required. The consultation is an opportunity for representatives of registered charities to discuss potential projects towards which the Foundation may be able to provide financial support. Foundation representatives will be able to give you tips on filling in the application form and advice on the kind of projects that we fund. To arrange an appointment please telephone 0870 902 1201.
Funding Criteria	Awards are made through a number of different routes: The standard grant scheme focuses on local charities working at grassroots level. The partnership drugs initiative targets children and young people in families in which parents misuse drugs or alcohol, pre-teen children who are at higher risk of developing problems with substance misuse and young people who are developing or who have established problems with substance misuse. Capacity building grants help charities review how well they are performing and put in place improvements. Overseas grants support Scottish based charities carry out work in developing countries. Inspiring Scotland is a new venture philanthropy fund led by Lloyds TSB Foundation for Scotland, and its first fund focuses on working to support 14 to 19 year olds struggling to make a successful transition from school to the next stage of their lives.
