Applicant Criteria	The Foundation distributes its funds to recognised charities in Scotland which are focused on improving the quality of life and creating equality of opportunity for people in Scotland. This applies particularly to those who are disadvantaged and marginalised, with particular emphasis on grassroots charities, and organisations which help those most in need become self-sufficient or improve the quality of their lives.
Funding Criteria	Awards are made through a number of different routes: We are currently unable to accept applications for our Standard Grant programme. Capacity building grants help charities review how well they are performing and put in place improvements. At the moment we are unable to accept applications to our overseas programme. At the moment we are unable to accept applications to the Partnership Drugs Initiative.
