What is Funderfinder?
It is a computer CD ROM Grant Making software program that helps charities and voluntary
organisations identify trusts, which might support their work. You do not have to worry if you’ve
not used a computer before there will be someone to guide you through it.
The Funderfinder database contains details of more than 4000 Trusts, and is a quick way of accessing potential funders - it allows you to browse through the database, and tag trusts which you think might fund your group, at the end of the search you will get a print out of details about these Trusts.
How long does a Funderfinder search take?
The Funderfinder search will take about one hour depending on how complicated your search is, and whether or not you want to try different options. (The maximum time allocated for each session will be one hour).
How can I make use of it?
You can make an appointment with CVS Fife for a session on the Funderfinder computer package. In order for your organisation to get the most out of the session, please download and read the guidance notes (pdf) carefully before coming - you may even wish to discuss them with other members of your organisation.
