Applications are welcomed from organisations that:

• are not for profit
• have a constitution or a governing document
• have their own bank/building society account
• have at least two cheque signatories
• have a written Child Protection policy
• have adequate and proper insurance

Organisations working with disadvantaged children and young people who must be aged 18 years and under, living in the United Kingdom.

Their disadvantages will include:

• Illness, distress, abuse or neglect
• Any kind of disability
• Behavioural or psychological problems
• Living in poverty or situations of deprivation

The application should demonstrate how your project will change the lives of children for the better. It should be entirely focused on children. Where possible and appropriate it should take into account children’s views and involve them in decision making.

Variable. Grants can be awarded for up to three years at a time.
