Applicant Criteria |
They seek to fund organisations working to combat or alleviate this disadvantage and to make a real difference to the quality of children and young people's lives. Organisation and project must be based in the UK and you need to be a registered charity or other not-for-profit organisation. Organisations of all sizes and especially those which may not have considered applying to us before can apply through our Small Grants programme. The Small Grants application process is designed to be as simple as possible. BBC Children in Need has made the transformation to a fully online application system. All applicants will need to complete our online application form, as paper applications are no longer available Applications are welcomed from organisations that:

Funding Criteria |
The application should demonstrate how your project will change the lives of children for the better. It should be entirely focused on children. Where possible and appropriate it should take into account children’s views and involve them in decision making. Disadvantages experienced by children and young people include:

Amounts Awarded |
The small grants programme is for applications of up to £10,000 a year for up to three years. |
