Applicant Criteria

You do not need to be registered as a charity by the Charity Commission to apply for a grant. Applications will be considered from any organisation in the UK that is set up for exclusively charitable purposes.

Funding Criteria

CAF currently aims to support the growth and development of small and medium-sized charities through its grant programme.

CAF does this by offering its expertise and funding in flexible ways, for example, by helping you to fill gaps in your charity's funding, or by providing consultancy to assist you in developing new income streams or broadening existing ones.

The 2006/07 grant programme continued our focus on organisational development through consultancy and training, and collaboration with other organisations working to increase effective giving nationally and internationally.
