You should primarily be an arts organisation though we welcome applications from a wide range of other organisations seeking funding for arts activity, such as local authorities, registered charities and other organisations which cannot distribute profits

The Arts Council offers support to organisations for arts projects, capital projects (buildings, equipment and artists' work in public places), organisational development and research and development. Funds for organisations are available under the following headings:

• Capital - buildings, equipment, public art
• Dance
• Crafts
• Drama
• Literature
• Music
• Visual Art
• Across Artforms

Applications will be assessed and decisions made within a maximum of 10 weeks, unless they are fast-track or large Capital proposals.
