Penumbra's Housing Support Service is designed for people who experience mental health problems to stay in their own tenancies in West Fife. This service is designed to ensure that people remain in the community, with appropriate support levels of support. Penumbra support workers offer both practical and emotional support, tailored to meet the needs of the individual and designed to enable people to lead an ordinary life. The times, lengths and content of each visit is agreed accordingly to people's individual requirements and funding criteria. Support can cover a variety of issues including budgeting, household maintenance and establishing links within the community and with other agencies.
