- The In Care survivors Service Scotland is a partnership organisation for over 16s who have experienced childhood abuse in a care setting. By 'in care' we mean any residential care setting, be it childrens homes, residential schools, hospital care, kinship care, religious orders, adoption or foster care.
We offer:
Counselling/support to survivors and/or supportive family members.
Advocacy - access to records, compensation claims, liaison with other professionals.
Befriending
Groupwork
Training to other professionals on abuse in care settings library and resources including our website. - Meeting Place
