Activities

The services provied by HCVS are very diverse. They provide hands on administrative service for a Livestock Co-operative and Crossroads Care Attendant Scheme and also provide advisory and practical support to all groups, including use of computer, fax and photocopying facilities, funding information and assistance and assistance to new organisations, etc. HCVS are also a Training Provider and have achieved both SQMS and IIP standards. They participate in Training for Work, New Deal 18 - 24 Voluntary Sector Option and New Deal 25+ pilot. They also co-operate with Lews Castle College in managing the Harris Learning Centre.
