East Lothian Voluntary Organisations Network (ELVON) is a Council for Voluntary Service and is an independent voluntary organisation based within East Lothian.
 
We are one of the 57 Councils for Voluntary Service throughout Scotland and are an independent charitable organisation funded in 1991 and run by a voluntary management committee made up of individuals from our member groups.
 
We aim to present the common policies and concerns of voluntary organisations, to develop new ways of responding to needs in partnership with statutory and other agencies concerned with social and economic regeneration.
 

 

 

 
We also support and assist organisations in coming together for common purposes and to enable local people to gain access to decision making processes that affect their community.
