- The Royal Burgh of Culross Music and Arts Festival was formed in 1976 and over the years has developed into a week long Music and Arts Festival of diverse entertainment consisting of Art and Photography exhibisitons andJazz and Blues Concert, a Medieval Burgh Fair and the highlight an outdoor opera, the only fully professional production performed in Scotland. The object and aims of the committee are to encourage initiatives which will aid the promotion of the arts within the community and beyond, fostering a community spirit.
