Activities

Advancing research and understanding of Places of Worship in Scotland, their heritage and environment. SCHR's main purposes are to develop interest in the heritage and environment of church buildings and sites including redundant and secularised buidings of all faiths. We aim to develop a broad interest in church archeology and history by giving talks, holding conferences, writing articles and holding training days for volunteers. Currently SCHR have just completed work on a pilot project in Fife creating a web resource on all places of worship in Fife.
