- As a building preservation trust the main activities of Fife Building Trust are focussed on the preservation and restoration of Fife's built heritage. In particular the trust works on area based regeneration schedules in Fife's historic towns and villages. It manages and delivers townscape heritage initiatives on behalf of Fife Council, these initiatives receive 50% funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund and all aimed at restoring and reusing training and educational opportunities. The Trust also purchases building at risk and restores them.
