Activities

To build stronger, healthier and safer communities using an approach that supports lifeling learning skills, education and training to young volunteers with the aim of empowering the volunteers with the confidence and life skills to go forward and seek opportunities. This project wil provide a number of benefits to both the local community and volunteers. Placements will be involved in the refurbishment of a not-for-profit organic café; help in the creation of a community garden and develop a bus into a mobile workshop. Volunteers/placements will gain knowledge and understanding in a variety of areas such as Personal Development, Food Preparation, Basic Mechanic and DIY skills. They will also have the opportunity to develop self confidence and be able to accept responsibility and future challenges.
