Activities

The Community Services delivered by Chest, Heart and Stroke Scotland aim to provide a range of services which meet the needs of a person who had had a stroke.
 
We support and promote communication
 
Respect everyone as competent adults and
 
encourage social interaction by offering regular stroke groups where an appropriate programme of communication based activities is given. Individual services such as outreach home visiting and hospital in-reach will be developed during 2007. The groups meet weekly and provide welcoming and stimulating environment to maximise recovery after stroke.
