Activities

Fife Alcohol Support Service aims to improve the quality of life of people affected by alcohol related problems. The Agency provides a community base, confidential one to one counselling service for people concerned about their own drinking or that of another. Counselling is available in 23 Health Centres and 3 Outreach Centres throughout Fife. Alcohol Education courses designed to raise awareness about alcohol and its effects are also available. These courses cover life skills, anger management and coping skills and can be of practical benefit in reducing anti-social or criminal behaviour. Individuals who wish to refer themselves for counselling or alcohol education should contact the Agency office using the telephone number or address detailed. Alternatively, a concerned helper (GP, Social Worker, Employer, Friend or Relative) may do so on their behalf.
